Jake Hum

Jake sources and evaluates new investment opportunities and provides ongoing support for a number of Arcus Partners’ portfolio companies.

Jake was previously a management consultant at Partners In Performance advising ASX200 companies on operational improvements, post-merger integration and commercial due diligence. Additionally, Jake gained experience at a high-growth start up where he was responsible for evaluating potential investments. Jake holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Computer Science.

Hayden O’Kelly

Hayden helps lead investment origination, execution and portfolio management at Arcus Partners.

Prior to joining the team, Hayden was an Associate Director – Private Equity at Adamantem Capital, investing in technology, B2B and industrial companies in Australia and New Zealand. Hayden was previously worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in M&A and capital markets and holds Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Economics (Distinction).

Christine has 35+ years experience as a CEO, company director, investor and entrepreneur in financial services, private equity and government.

Previously, the CEO and Chair of Dun & Bradstreet Australia, NZ and India. Chairperson of Humm Group, Auctus Investment Group and former director of Victorian Insurance Authority and ME Bank. Christine currently serves as the President of the Library Board of Victoria and a Council Member of La Trobe University.

Duncan Murray

Duncan has 20+ years of managerial experience as CEO and Director of public and private sector companies across logistics, construction, technology, media and private equity.

Previously Founding Chair of the Amy Gillett Foundation, Chair of Cycling Australia, Chair of AusCycling, Chair of Djarragun College, Chair of Bama Services, Group CEO of the Noel Pearson founded Cape York Partnership and Cape York Institute. Former lawyer and investment banker (Allens, Centaurus and Merrill Lynch).

Andrew has a 30+ year career in finance and private equity. Andrew was a founding partner of Crescent Capital Partners, an Australian mid-market private equity firm and currently serves as Director of Countplus Limited.

Previously Managing Director of ASX-listed Pacific Current Group, executive at Macquarie Bank and management consultant at The LEK Partnership.

Daniel is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Arcus Partners, established with the backing and partnership of the BESEN family.

Daniel previously led the venture capital and private equity team as Investment Director and member of the Investment Committee at M.H. Carnegie & Co., and was formerly an executive at Macquarie Bank’s CAF division.

Founder of BESEN, an investment firm supporting passionate entrepreneurs in business and property. Former Chair of Collingwood Arts Precinct (CAP) and a Director of the Tarrawarra Museum of Art.
